What does anxiety look like?

Anxiety can come in so many different shapes and sizes, and it is without question on the rise today. Your anxiety may have recently emerged. At Vitus Counseling, I spend a significant amount of my time treating clients dealing with anxiety. Whether you are an anxious teenager, college or graduate student, working professional, or full-time parent I would be honored to work with you. In counseling, I will listen to the things in your life that you are struggling with. I will provide you with a calm, non-anxious presence and an understanding ear. Together, we will identify your unique set of skills and create a list of goals for counseling. Then, I will teach you the coping skills to achieve your goals and find anxiety relief. I use a combination of therapy techniques to treat your anxiety. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and exposure therapy.

Some of the skills you will learn in anxiety counseling include:
